Introducing: My Little Dream

I have a little dream. I have had it forever, probably since I was a wee child. It has changed over the years, from being a cottage in the woods of Northern Minnesota to being a cottage at the shore. And for the past seven years, my dream has been even more specific: a beach cottage in Maine.

Now, a dream of a beach house is a common one, I know. But I have a twist to my little dream. I want a vintage beach cottage in Maine filled almost entirely with the vintage things that I love: china, furniture, linens and more. I've named my little dream "The Vintage Rose." And since my dream is many years away from coming true, I have years to collect all the vintage treasures that I will need to create the perfect seaside getaway.

Just for fun, because I find this type of thing deliriously fun, I am going to document my collecting and dreaming, as The Vintage Rose becomes a reality.

I can't wait until this view is mine for more than a couple of weeks each summer!
